MARK HENICK is a mental health advocate, broadcaster, and bestselling author, who dedicated his life from an early age to opening minds and creating change.             

He is the Nationally Syndicated Mental Health Columnist for CBC Radio. Mark’s bylines have included CNN, CNBC, USA Today, and The Chicago Tribune. Over the last 20 years, he has made well over 1500 media appearances, both as subject and as host, raising awareness about mental health.

Mark’s hit viral TEDx talk about the stranger who saved his life was among the most watched in the world, with millions of views. And his first book, So-Called Normal: A Memoir of Family, Depression, and Resilience, was described by television host Rosie O’Donnell as “beautifully written, heart-wrenching, and hopeful.”
